Laws Never Stop Craziness or Blind Rage

Here are two stories that prove you cannot pass enough laws to legislate crazy behavior.  In fact, if someone really wants to do something, from a mass shooting to crashing planes into buildings to biting out someone’s eyes, no laws will stop this behavior.

Take shootings, for example.  There are already laws against murder and attempted murder.  If you take away the guns from everyone, the criminals will not obey the law and we only create a target-rich environment for the crazy criminals.

We have laws that make it a crime to hijack an airplane, laws against flying a commercial airplane without certification and laws against killing stewardesses and passengers.  That did not stop the behavior of 19 mid-east radical Muslims when they flew planes into buildings and private property.  They did not even pay attention to the laws against destruction of public and private property.

Then you have the real crazy people.

Aubrey Louis Berry shot and killed rapper Dolla (AKA Roderick Anthony Burton II) with a 9mm pistol.  That was totally senseless and Aubrey should be put out of his misery, but he did not decide to save the taxpayers the expense of a trial.  I a final bout of craziness, he walked into an airport with the pistol in his waistband of his pants (a sure way to possibly remove his manhood in a flash) and was arrested.  He did not pay any attention to the law against murder or discharging a firearm inside of city limits. He also did not pay attention to the laws prohibiting the carrying of a concealed weapon in California and in an airport.

Angel Vidal Mendoza Sr., of Bakersfield in liberal California did not pay attention to the child abuse laws or the laws against mayhem.  He did not even pay attention to the laws against torture.  He bit out one of his child’s eyes and damaged the other eye by biting it.  The child is now blind.

The child, 4-year-old Angelo Mendoza Jr., later told police, “My daddy ate my eyes.”

The child’s mother, Desirae Marie Bermudez, is wanted on a $15,000 bench warrant for not finishing a drug school.  Angel was loaded on PCP and started chopping at his legs with an axe.

This could have been prevented, as Angel has a prior conviction for child abuse.  Since it was supposedly a “minor” child abuse conviction, Child Protective Services did not see fit to remove the child from a family of ot-of-control drug addicts.

Angel, Desirae and the child case worker should all have their eyes burned out with a red-hot iron and staked out in a desert to die from sunburn.  Biblical stoning would be too good for them.

We all should pray for the child, Angelo Mendoza Jr. and hope his damaged eye can eventually be saved.
