Independence Day Celebration – Part 1

I was walking the whole week and wondering what to do for the Independence Day celebration that would be meaningful.  I was thinking of going into a store and taking a whole shelf of tea and throwing it into the Guadalupe River and running, but I have a feeling that the San Jose Police and the Sunnyvale police would not immediately understand the significance of my First Amendment action.  Anyway there was a TEA Party in San Jose on Sunday, the 5th.

At least I would probably get 50% of them in agreement with me after they Googled my name, but that and $500,000 would get me a Get Out Of Jail Card after paying the bond.

I then thought of getting a bunch of ribs, some hamburger, hot dogs (definitely!!!), a half-ton of charcoal and a cord of mesquite.  I would have a great BBQ, but they announced a Spare the Air day, so that would also cost me some jail and a fine.

I could call my Chinese friends and pick up a bunch of firecrackers, but they wanted cash up front.  I’m out of work so that idea got blown out of the water.  I thought of making a bunch of blanks for my .44 Magnum S&W, but I remembered firing the blanks within the city limits to remind us of the bombs exploding in air would cost me a bunch of money and I would also lose my California Hunter Safety Instructor license.

What to do???

Got something to say?
