Despite the secrecy, on July 5th, the following headline appeared in the Mirror, a news organization in the United Kingdom: “Michael Jackson to be buried without his brain”. Under the guise of keeping the brain for analysis in determining the cause of death, Michael’s brain was removed and is now part of the United States government’s project. Mr. Jackson had volunteered for the mission beyond Pluto and the government accepted him.
Such a long trip in space could only be endured by having some sort of entertainment to keep the mind from going crazy. On a 20 to 100 year journey all the possible movies that could be electronically stored for entertainment would be played more than several times over so having a live composer create new entertainment was just what the doctor ordered.
I have found out that the secret classification for this project is “For Brains Only”. I will let you know when I find out the name of the project.
