African Gun Control May Be Imported Into US – Part 2

In Part 1, I stated Treaties override our Constitution and Bill of Rights.  Yes, treaties signed by a President of the United States and confirmed by the Senate trump our God-given rights, as far as our government is concerned.  I believe that no one should be able to take away any God-given right.

African nations are pressuring the United States to sign an Arms Treaty.  The previous United Nations Small Arms Treaty was signed by President Clinton but the Senate refused to ratify the treaty.

The treaty besides limiting small arms trade to “terrorists” also would prevent United States Citizens (along with the citizens and subjects of various other countries) from reloading their own ammunition and would restrict and revoke handgun and rifle ownership for a majority of citizens.  Since International Treaties take precedence over our Constitution and National, State and Local laws, the despots that comprise the majority of the United Nations could help disarm the people who need the protection of firearms ownership the most.

Under President George W. Bush, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, refused to approve of any attempt to approve an International Arms Treaty that required United States Citizens to give up their rights.

Under the Obama Administration, the gun banners can hardly restrain themselves.  In fact Hillary Clinton (Bill’s wife) is resurrecting her husband’s goal of eventually banning private firearm ownership in the United states.  She is Secretary of State and is talking with the African nations that do not treat their subjects well as far as freedom is concerned.

Tightly hold on to your Bibles and your Guns.
