The United Nations is at our throats again. They are accusing us of not fighting fair against the Taliban and Al Qaida terrorists; you know, those cowards that hide behind women and children when they are trying to kill us. These are the same people who store bombs in mosques; the same ones who hide their weapons and operations in homes.
The United Nations (which is compriseds mostly of tin-horn dictators, thugs and despots along with a few modern world countries) is accusing us of executing terrorists without a fair trial and killing innocent civilians. Look, no one, and I mean no one in the United States government and military want to be at war, but sometimes it is necessary to eventually preserve peace.
War is not a place for lawyers and trials. It is for warriors and war machines.
No period of peace ever came about that was not proceeded by a victory. Look at Japan. They attacked us, we warned them to surrender twice, once in between the nuclear bombing, and after we achieved victory we helped them become a truly peaceful world power.
All military groups are there to break things and kill the enemy. Most of the time the threat of us being able to wipe a country off the world map is enough to keep peace and they will not attack us. The Taliban and Al Qaida are the two groups that seem too stupid to study history and learn from it.
We have sent in SEAL, Ranger and other teams and have surgically removed individuals who planned destruction and killed Americans. We have done that all over the world and I would also bet that we have done that at home to at least one terrorist that snuck into this great country of ours intent on destroying us. He lost that quest.
Sometimes we need to go into areas that the percentage of going in and coming out again alive is very small. So we use some tools like smart bombs and remote controlled drones to wipe out the vermin.
If these terrorists always hide behind women and children, taking them out with unfortunate civilian casualties actually lessens the total number of souls killed. The UN seems to ignore the fact that despots like to hide behind the innocent people while they do their inhumane deeds.
The AFP international news group reports:
“The problem with the United States is that it is making an increased use of drones/Predators (which are) particularly prominently used now in relation to Pakistan and Afghanistan,” UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial Executions Philip Alston told a press conference.
“My concern is that drones/Predators are being operated in a framework which may well violate international humanitarian law and international human rights law,” he said.
Hey UN! Tell the terrorists to quit hiding behind women and children. Then there will not be any collateral damage.
And quit calling us executioners. You would not be in existence if it were not for the United States providing the majority of UN funding, the building and aid to just about all UN members.
Got something to say?
