When it came to ratings, Air America did not attract hardly anyone. Many checks from people such as George Soros and other Marxists were poured into keeping Air America alive.
Finally, Air America filed for bankruptcy and started over leaving many some investors shy about investing more money. You see, even liberal people who invest money want to get their money back and make a profit.
They did get funding and continued broadcasting to a mostly empty airspace. No amount of money could buy a supportive listenership. It was a sad state of affairs that even the majority of liberals didn’t even support the talk hosts like Al Franken could not even keep enough of the far-left moonbats interested to be able to keep the station self-sufficient.
Well, the money for the expensive life-support system has run out and the plug is being pulled as I write this. The death rattle is being heard and should continue funtil Air America gulps it’s last breath.
They are filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and closing forever.
No longer will the uninteresting babble from some far-left blowhards pollute the airways. Wait!!! If nobody is listening, there can’t be any pollution!
In the future,you can be sure that some Marxist will make it mandatory to listen to the likes of an Al Franken for six hours a day; probably pumped in to your workplace. Either that or the Fairness Doctrine will be brought back.
