Austria has a rich musical tradition. Originally developed as a way to communicate in the Alps Mountains, yodeling became an art form over hundreds of years.
All that tradition is in danger of being lost just because of some immigrants that refuse to assimilate into their host country.
A Muslim family decided to be offended by their neighbor’s yodeling when he was mowing his lawn. They took Helmut G., an Austrian citizen to court.
The judge decided that Helmut could have been ridiculing the Muslim family’s religious beliefs by making fun of the call of the Muezzin who calls people to prayer five times a day from a mosque’s minarets.
Helmut was fined 800 Euros ($1,057.60) for his yodeling.
You might ask why this is important to United States citizens.
With today’s liberal judges and terrorist-loving organizations like CAIR, you could be fined for singing Christmas Carols if someone decides they are “offended” by your actions.
They already have just about eliminated public Christmas displays and trees and Christmas celebrations in favor of pagan solstice and winter parties.
