I was going to make this revelation yesterday, but some of my East Coast friends might have been asleep and this eye-opener is not to be missed by anyone!
I have a political and religious revelation for you. No matter what your political position or whomever you support for President of the United States – this applies to you.
There is no separation of religion and state: God wants you to vote! Romans 13:1 stipulates that God puts in place government “for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”
In this country God has chosen a Republic and we need to vote to do our part in that process. Everyone is responsible to vote for whom they believe is the best ruler for America. It is our duty to God to vote.
Likewise, all our leaders and those in authority are not only accountable to us to allow us to live in peace, but they are also directly answerable to God. The rulers we elect should follow God’s commandments and if they do not, God will take care of them in the end. We should let God do that, as those decisions of punishment are way above our pay grade!
We need to do our part in God’s plan and vote to elect whom we believe to be the best leader for our country.
The day after election or whenever our leaders are chosen, you have to remember that they are OUR leaders whether or not we supported them. The fact they were chosen, for better or for worse (by our personal opinions) is all part of God’s plan.
After the election, you can complain or rejoice – that is not an issue. The issue is that we continue to do one more thing.
I am challenging each and every one of you to PRAY for our leaders. Pray that they follow God’s words. Pray that our leaders let us live in peace. Pray for our leaders to uphold our decision to support God by living in godliness and holiness by following God’s Word.
I challenge everyone to do this starting now for our current leaders, as you should have been doing this all along.
Remember if you don’t vote, you have no right to complain; besides, God wants us to vote as it pleases Him.
Let me know when you have done your part to support God’s plan and then continue in daily prayer for our leaders and those in authority.
God Bless,
Fred Hoot
