The flower power children in the 1960′s were part of the “Peace, not War” movement sponsored by the Communist Party USA and the Communist Party in the USSR (now Russia). Out of this sprung the idea that it was easier to destroy the United States from within rather then through war, as the United States military always wins the wars. (Lyndon Johnson set us on a path to defeat with limiting the Vietnam war rather than just going in, actually winning the war victoriously, freeing the people from Communism and then set up them for self sufficiency.) The Copenhagen Global Warming summit should have been held in Amsterdam. Amsterdam was warmer and the attendees could have smoked their pot, hash and whatever else they were smoking legally. I happen to use Skype. I like the free voice calls and once had a built-in web cam in my laptop when I had a job. I’ll have to buy a web cam when I get a job and my finances improve.

The economy is getting worse and the Fed raises the interest rate. The bank looks at John’s account and raises his Adjustable Rate Mortgage. All of a sudden, the payments are more than he can make and still feed his family. John has to sell the farm, take what cash remains and find another occupation. Read more »
