Republican Representative Christopher Lee is now the World Record holder of “The Quickest Congressional Resignation” with a time clocked at 3 hours.
Maureen O’Connor of the Gawker gossip web site exposed Chris’s naked chest picture by publishing it for the world to see. Just three hours later, Representative Lee held a press conference and resigned “effective immediately.”

There is no excuse for infidelity or in this case even an appearance of infidelity, among our elected officials. Since they are tasked at representing the people, they must be held to a higher standard.
When they break a trust, they must be replaced as the trust is gone. Read more »

Mark Kirk (R) - Illinois
Whenever there has been a Senator that has to be replaced the libs have bent over backwards to make sure the replacement gets seated in order to vote.
This is happening with Chris Coons (D) of Delaware ( Vice President Joe Biden’s seat), and Joe Manchin (D) of West Virginia (Robert Byrd’s seat).
So what is happening with Illinois Senator Mark Kirk? The session starts November 15th. Read more »

Keith Olbermann
MSNBC has a policy that their reporters may not contribute to political candidates unless they have a prior exemption directly from the network news president.
Keith Olbermann broke this policy three times:
- $2,400 to Jack Conway, the Democrat candidate for the Kentucky Senate
- $2,400 to Democrat Raul Grijalva, candidate for Arizona Representative
- $2,400 to Gabrielle Giffords, a Democrat candidate for a Arizona Representative seat Read more »
Liberal activist attorney Gloria Allred seems like the type of attorney that causes all the shark and nasty jokes about lawyers. She is ruining a woman’s life by exposing Federal crimes that could get her “client” many years in jail – all for the sake of socialist Democrat motives.
Gloria jumped into bed with Jerry Brown’s campaign staff (politically, that is) and conjured up a really slimy, mud-slinging media show thirty-some days before the fall elections. Read more »

…..but in the world of politics, sinners are judged according to party. It appears that those who party hearty on the liberal side are, for the most part, given a pass while the politicians on the conservative side are forced out by demands from both parties. Read more »

A group called Chicagoans for Rio are hoping Brazil gets the 2012 Olympics. As Chicago is already overwhelmed by debt and a lack of funds to meet it, they do not wish to see the city pushed back toward the dark ages. Read more »

The Democrat Senators and Representatives have been avoiding, for the most part the town hall meetings about healthcare. They have been avoiding questions that they either cannot answer or refuse to answer because the people asking the questions have actually read the bill.
They have admitted that they have not read the bill, yet they proclaim to know what is or is not in the bill. The Death Panels supposedly were not in the bill, yet they finally removed the language in the bill that was being “misinterpreted or had the possibility of being implemented” wrong. Read more »

The Democrats picked Harry Reid to deliver a message to America. “It’s better to have a product based on quality and thoughtfulness rather than try to jam something through.”
Are the libs wising up to American public opinion which showed 53% against the health-care bill? Or, is there something sinister lurking here? Read more »

Governor Mark Sanford (R), governor of South Carolina, was MIA for four days and everyone started wondering where he was. Is he hiking the Appalachian Trail? Was he in a remote cabin without electricity or cell phone coverage working on the book he is writing? Read more »
Nancy Pelosi, House Madam, has been a dishonest politician. She promised integrity in the house and turned around and eliminated the house rules allowing the minority party an input in the creation of bills and debate.
Interestingly enough, the Democrats insisted that these rules be enacted to allow fairness when the Republicans acquired the majority in the house years ago. Read more »
