Solyndra Energy closes its doors after Obama visit

Solar energy company Solyndra LLC was visited by President Obama during a recent trip in May to California.  Obama praised the solar industry while he spent everyone else’s carbon credits for his trip.

Today, at 5 am it gathered night shift employees for an emergency meeting and had them shut down all equipment.  The employees were told Solyndra was out of money and was going to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The taxpayers (that means you and I) recently spent $500 million to guarantee a loan for Solyndra.  This is in addition to the $1 billion in private investments.

So $1.5 billion later Solyndra is shutting down operations and locking its employees out of its Fremont, California plant.  This will also hurt Fremont’s financial situation as there are a lot of local businesses that depend on Solyndra employees.

This information was first released by a caller on Whistleblower Wednesday on the Brian Sussman Show on August 31, 2011.  You can hear Brian on KSFO in San Francisco.

Let me regress to three years ago. Yes, I said yesterday was the good ol’ days and it still is, but I need to fill you in on some past history so you can understand the recent history and then the future. Read more »

RIP Air America – Part 2 of 2

When it came to ratings, Air America did not attract hardly anyone. Many checks from people such as George Soros and other Marxists were poured into keeping Air America alive.

RIP Air America – Part 1 of 2

The Fairness Doctrine was overturned years ago to give radio and TV stations the capability to let the market control their programming. For the most part, radio stations did extremely well.

There were a lot of people out there that liked Country Western music and they drove advertisers to invest in the popular stations. Needless to say, the advertisers made a lot of money selling their advertised products. Read more »
