This morning I noticed that Google had one of their doodles in place of their normal Google logo. It looks like a takeoff on the LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana.
I was working at the Post Office (no, I have not yet gone postal all the years since) and was in the Philly Post Office Band.
A LOVE stamp showing the sculpture was unveiled in 1973 and the Philly Post Office Band played for the dedication.
I was able to purchase a first day cover and get it signed by the artist.
WOW! The postage for a letter was just 8-cents back then!
I wish everyone a great Valentine’s Day.
God bless.

Yes, even the unborn child is, in fact, alive, and practitioners of Marx indeed go after religious freedom first, especially if it is Christianity and Judaism. Thousands of years of history show that Jews and Christians alike are easily slaughtered after they are first disarmed, so Marx dictates (I like that choice of word) that the populace to be controlled have all their forms of self-defense removed. Interestingly enough, according to the FBI, crime is down! In interviews with hardened criminals and murderers, most of them said their “jobs” were much tougher in areas where large numbers of law-abiding citizens owned firearms for protection. Read more »

The picture also plays on the fear mongering liberals like to employ about those “big bad black” guns, as the gun is black and is photographed against a black background. I dabble in photography and the photographer did a great job of lighting.
Before any liberal tries to say this is an assault rifle, I can assure you it is only an assault rifle in California’s warped sense of law (along with a few other liberal institutions that would love to ban all firearms. Read more »

I came across a blog entry that attempts to use statistics to spread lies about the personal beliefs of defenders of the Second Amendment. Entitled “Do Republicans love their guns more than they love liberal Americans?” the blog entry is an attempt like no other I have seen to group gun owners and Republicans together and pit their morality into an accusation of hypocrisy and hatred of the liberals. How will the older generation be treated under the Democrat’s Universal Health Care? There are a lot of things that worry us in the Marxist legislation that the liberals are trying to shove down our collective throats. Read more »
Take the confined space box that is considered torture by the Democrats: a detainee is placed in and they are prevented from moving too much. It is very much like a coffin. There are quite a few people in San Francisco that pay a lot of money to have that done to them; just visit the erotic ball held there and see for yourself. You have to have a warped mind if you call this torture.
As an added attraction just add a fuzzy non-poisonous caterpillar that tickles you as it walks up and down your body. This is an extra $100. You will be charged $200 if you accidentally squash the caterpillar. Read more »

If you believe the useful idiots now in power in the congressional and executive branches, you would think that God, our Creator, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ were never intended to be mentioned in our government and is expressively prohibited by the non-existent separation of church and state that some liberal black robes created out of thin air. I have to be real careful here, because if I even sound remotely like I’m mentioning Revelations I will be deemed a right-wing-radical and added to the Homeland Security watch list (even though I may already be on the list several times over for my public self-professed “confession” to all of you in a earlier post.
The radical-left wingnuts have been pushing to rid God and Jesus from the culture of the United States since they won the “right” to kill babies over 36 years ago. I just dare you to find that right in the Bill of Rights. I’ll leave the abortion issue for another post, as that is not what I am covering here. I’m just setting the table for the main course. I am a Christian and believe that Jesus died for our sins, beat death by rising on the third day, and Mary, Joana and others were shown the empty tomb by angels. Imagine seeing just the limp burial clothes in the otherwise empty tomb! (See Luke 24:1-8)
I believe in the sanctity of life and we should not murder anyone, including infants in the womb. Read more »
