NOTE: One of my good friends, Jeff, sent this email and picture to me. It is so precious, that I have to share it with all my readers. Enjoy!

In addition to communicating with the local Air Traffic Control facility, all aircraft in the Persian Gulf AOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defense Radar (military) a ten minute ‘heads up’ if they will be transiting Iranian airspace.

The following conversation was heard on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz. Read more »

The Real Origin Of Taps

taps

Please remember all f our soldiers, both past and present for their service to our country.  Today is a day set aside for this noble purpose.

Buglers and trumpeters throughout our country have played, are playing and will play Taps for those who have willingly paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

I have seen many different, heart-touching stories spread about the origin of Taps.  Here is the real one from the Arlington National Cemetery web site.

Here Is What The Fort Hood Report Should Have Said – Part 2 of 2

Hasan ignored the fact that we were killing terrorists. The terrorists just happened to be radical Islamic Muslims that vowed to kill the Great Satan America and all of it’s Jewish and Christian citizens. Read more »

Here Is What The Fort Hood Report Should Have Said – Part 1

On November 5, 2009, Major Nidal Malik Hasan walked into Fort Hood. He brought his personal firearm on to the base, which, by the way is not permitted, and opened fire after yelling Allah Akbar. Later investigations showed that the Major had strong resentment (an understatement if there ever was one) against the United States and was very sympathetic (although I call him pathetic) toward the Radical Muslim terrorists. Religious Attack at Fort Hood?

Murderer Or Religious Terrorist?

predatordrone

The United Nations is at our throats again.  They are accusing us of not fighting fair against the Taliban and Al Qaida terrorists; you know, those cowards that hide behind women and children when they are trying to kill us.  These are the same people who store bombs in mosques; the same ones who hide their weapons and operations in homes. Jim Hill, Patriot

Jim Hill is a true Patriot.  He stands firmly behind all of our Constitution and is not bashful about exercising his first amendment rights.

Until yesterday, I had never heard of Jim, although I have heard of and met people like him.  Like good cream, he has risen to the top layer of patriots with his outspokenness and his other services to our country.

He recently wrote a letter to Senator Boxer and I must share it with you.  He was not bashful in including his address.  If you have the means, I recommend sending Jim a $10 or a $20 bill and a note of thanks for his letter to Ma’am Boxer and for his service to his country! Read more »

Taps To Honor America’s Heroes

I had been playing trumpet for just over a year.  Being in the eighth grade, it was unusual to get a call on our party-line home phone from a total stranger.  The man on the phone asked me if I could play taps on Monday evening for President John Kennedy who had been assassinated the previous Friday.
