Tell Stupid Politicians to Bag It With Their New Tax

The Left Coast is full of kooks and they are not just limited to the protestors or liberal voters.  Liberalism, the disease, has spread to officials that are just strangling the economy and people of the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia.  Even the local political kooks are doing their best to kill all businesses, both big and small. Investment Advice

If you have been hurt by the recent economic hiccups, you just did not have a good enough economic adviser.  He should have known that this all started with the Fair Housing Act of 1977 and snowballed every time the Democrats have Read more »

It Feels Good To Recycle

You can do a lot of things just by sitting in front of your computer and clicking here and there and maybe a few well-placed hits on the keyboard.

I woke up this morning to what seemed like a normal day.  The sun had yet to peek over the horizon, but I knew it was coming by a slight glow.  I sat down at the computer I mentioned earlier updated the Golden State Second Amendment Council web site and then thought I would write a quick blog or two.

As a firm believer in Conservation (but not preservation) of our earthly resources given to us by God, I threw a plastic soda bottle consumed the night before into the recycle bag I take to the New Venture Church on Sunday so the College Ministry can help support their programs.  After this green deed, I was rudely reminded that California is in dire need of building more power plants and more support infrastructure in the form of transmission lines.

The environmentally-challenged here in California think we can double the population and not add any additional power (all for the good of the poor little furry creatures and their children).  The sudden lack of power just ticked me off, but since the sun had just risen, I took a shower.  Now dried off and the electricity suddenly restored, I could continue with my blog.

After a few reboots my computer finally started cooperating and I was off and typing.  Suddenly, I felt the need to perform another deed that would diminish my carbon footprint, and lo and behold, Bill Gates, of all people, provided me with a perfect recycling opportunity!

It felt so good to click that Yes button!  Now I am set for the day with much lighter shoes.
