The unions in Wisconsin are spreading propaganda that the workers’ rights of state employees are being completely taken away. That is far from the truth.
The unions still have collective bargaining rights for their members, but there are just some commonsense limits to keep costs from increasing even more. Read more »

When the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Bill was first introduced, I said it would limit free speech and was violating the United States Constitution. By limiting spending in the last 30 to 60 days of an election, this bill prevented groups from presenting their views on issues. Read more »

The following workday I was again hounded about making a decision and again was reminded of the crime in the area. Until now, I didn’t link my damaged tire with the unions. When I went out to my car at lunchtime to check on it, I found a flat tire with a large cut in the sidewall; totally ruined. Read more »

I used to work for the United States Postal Service at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, PA. When I first started working there, I had a couple of weeks to decide which Union I was to join or not to join a union. Things went really smoothly and everyone was really nice to me, trying to entice me into their particular union. Read more »

The Employee Free Choice Act is a very deceptive name for a piece of legislation. It seems to say that employees (which include everyone who works) have a free choice.
You may ask, “What free choice do I have?” and then you read the legislation. You have a free choice to choose between a Union or a non-union shop. Read more »
A few days ago, Michelle Obama celebrated volunteer day by going to a California school and help plant a vegetable garden. The children are going to be raising the produce and selling it.
While this could be turned into a real “teachable” moment on agriculture and capitalism, the children have been told that the money will be given to the school. The teachers and administration should get an “F” for promoting Marxism. Read more »
