George Washington, out first president and congress declared to set aside Thanksgiving as a day to thank God for His favor and His help in founding our form of government:
By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.
Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to “recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:”

"Big Sis" Janet Napolitano
The dirty little secret that Janet Napolitano, our U.S. Homeland Security Secretary, forbids what the liberals refer to “racial profiling”, and that is the weak link in our airport security.
The TSA agents on the front lines are well aware that if they single out a person who happens to look like one of the terrorists that participated in the September 11th attacks, they will open themselves up to a civil suit.
I have personally seen TSA agents avoid people of particular origin and picked people on either side of them for a more thorough screening.

"Big Sis" Janet Napolitano
John Tyner is becoming something of a folk hero.
He is the person who told a TSA agent that he would be arrested if he touched John’s private parts.
He also happened to have recorded the entire process and the recordings became viral across the internet.

Mark Kirk (R) - Illinois
Whenever there has been a Senator that has to be replaced the libs have bent over backwards to make sure the replacement gets seated in order to vote.
This is happening with Chris Coons (D) of Delaware ( Vice President Joe Biden’s seat), and Joe Manchin (D) of West Virginia (Robert Byrd’s seat).
So what is happening with Illinois Senator Mark Kirk? The session starts November 15th.

Keith Olbermann
MSNBC has a policy that their reporters may not contribute to political candidates unless they have a prior exemption directly from the network news president.
Keith Olbermann broke this policy three times:
- $2,400 to Jack Conway, the Democrat candidate for the Kentucky Senate
- $2,400 to Democrat Raul Grijalva, candidate for Arizona Representative
- $2,400 to Gabrielle Giffords, a Democrat candidate for a Arizona Representative seat

With what’s happened on the Left Coast, I just had to put up the headline.
Good night and sweet nightmares everyone.

Coming soon to America?
If the unemployment picture does not improve immediately, we may see this happening in the United States.
There are hundreds of thousands and maybe millions of people who are going to be losing unemployment benefits.
The 99-week maximum of unemployment and extensions is gone.

Boxer Comparison
I know a lot of people who worked hard to gain the knowledge they have. I know a lot of people who worked hard to get where they are in life.
I know lots of people who worked hard, and I see a commonality with all of them:
None of them would have done what Barbara Boxer did.

I have always said the “progressive” movement, which started its real heyday in the 1920’s, has always been controlled by the communists. I have been proven out with each and every protest the far-left has made.
You can prove this for yourselves. Just pick up fliers from the protest and closely examine them. You will find the protest is backed by the Communist Party, USA or some flavor of it.
I see a group of Second Amendment supporters that have seemed to have bit the apple (without the urging of Eve) and are urging people to vote for Jerry Brown for Governor.
They point to Meg Whitman’s bad stance on the Second Amendment. I admit Meg does not have a stellar record on the 2A rights.
