What are you going to do when the government tells you what to buy? Well, there is not anything meaningful you can do – you will have to buy medical insurance. If you didn’t vote, you have no reason to complain.

A woman fears getting killed by her abusive husband and applies to the court to help her. Normally I would not have a problem with that. I would probably teach her how to handle a gun safely.
I would also instruct her in some quick tactical methods to protect herself in case the police do not respond to a 911 call in time. Unless they are already at her door, they would not be able to arrive in time to thwart a husband who decided to kill his wife. Even if they were at her door, they could be too late, as it takes only seconds or less to be killed. Read more »
