President Obama had a press conference on his Foundation for Sustained Economic Growth.  He just introduced and thanked the people who worked on it.

He then ended the press conference.

An hour or so later, he called a press conference where he spoke on the details of the plan.  He did not take any questions

I believe the reason for the delay was the people typing in the speech in the Teleprompter were not finished when the conference first started.

On the Rising Sun of Nihon, a site about doing Business in Japan, I found something interesting.  Titled, “Speeches of Obama” book sells 400,000 copies in two months, and teaches Japanese English, too, this article caught my attention, not because I wonder why anyone would want to spend hard-earned money on copies of teleprompter canned speeches written by a few of Obama’s cohorts, but by the fact there is practically nothing ever written by Obama available for the American Public to see.

Now, the Japanese culture can be a bit strange for Westerners.  I now like sushi, except for that nasty sea urchin recommended for mature pallets only and their fish eggs, which, in my opinion are useful only for bait while fishing for some more sushi.  Their culture in American Politics escapes me completely.
