The takeover of the auto industry and the creation of Government Motors signaled the overt insertion of socialism into our nation.

The destruction of tens of thousands of automobile engines by filling them with liquid glass prevented them from being recycled and melted down so they will be rusting away in a non-green way for ages. It was ironic that the destruction was to encourage people to buy greener automobiles that Government Motors will force upon us. It is funny that the highly profitable Hummer group was sold to the Communist Chinese.
