Leave it to a liberal town (Lynn) in a liberal state like Massachusetts, cradle of the super-liberal Kennedy Klan, to ban baseball bats in school. I know many liberal schools teach students the right way to roll a condom over a cucumber or banana and also have students play sports making sure no one keeps score. Keeping score would make the losers feel bad and I guess playing baseball without bats or keeping score would really make all the students feel the same. Read more »
Firearms owners have overwhelmingly recognized this trend in government and are acting to preserve their rights. Their efforts are seen in the stock market. Smith and Wesson Holdings Corp has reported quarterly profits of $2.4 million. Last year, the same quarter recorded a loss of $1.8 million. In California, school nurses are prohibited from giving a child an aspirin or any “drug” without written parental approval. “Harder” drugs like insulin, drugs to correct unbalanced body chemistry and the like are even harder to have administered, as the parent must provide written approval and a “properly trained” nurse must be available to administer the drug.
